| | SANA deletes report that Syrian air defenses intercept enemy targets around Damascus | BEIRUT: The state-run Syrian Arab News Agency deleted Sunday an earlier report saying Syrian air defenses had intercepted enemy targets around Damascus international airport Sunday.
"Our air defenses intercepted enemy aerial targets in the vicinity of Damascus international airport in southern Damascus," SANA had reported.
The report was then later deleted from SANA’s website and its twitter page. No explanation was immediately given. |
