NICOSIA: Syrian troops killed three people in the flashpoint central city of Homs on Thursday a day after Damascus said yes to an Arab League plan to end the bloodshed, a human rights group said.
The three were killed in the Baba Amr and Al-Inshaat neighbourhoods of the city where "heavy machine fire is still being heard," the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
